About the event

This is an industry-first instructor workshop that allows instructor candidates to earn a total of fifteen (15) provider and instructor-level certifications. As a firearms instructor or concealed carry citizen, being able to address trauma bleeding rapidly, emergency reactions such as beestings, or deal with active shooters is a critical skill set for today’s dynamic world. If you want to take your medical training to the next level for your knowledge or be licensed to offer this training to your firearms students, this is the course for you! Upon completing this workshop, you will be immediately certified to train your students in these new programs. This program is broken up into three days: 1) Day One is the Student Skills Checkoffs, 2) Day Two is the Medical Instructor Training Class, and 3) Day Three is the Active Attacker and Stop the Bleed Instructor Class. No other workshop exists like this where you can earn all of these certifications in one single weekend!

Your Course Director, Dr. Hudson Garrett, has over 17 years of professional medical training experience. He is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Hudson is an Instructor Trainer with the American Red Cross, Health and Safety Institute, Emergency Safety and Health Institute, National Safety Council, National Faculty with EMPACT, Training Center Faculty with the American Heart Association, and an Instructor for the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians.
